BABY DEDICATION
Why Do We Do Baby Dedication?
At Lee Park, a baby dedication is a joyful and meaningful moment in the life of our church family. It is a time when parents publicly commit to raising their child in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and when our congregation commits to walking alongside them in that journey.
Dedication is a commitment made by parents and supported by the church.
A Commitment from Parents
During the dedication service, parents commit to:

Teaching their child God’s Word

Modeling a Christ-centered life

Praying faithfully for their child

Leading their family in active involvement in the church
A Commitment from the Church
Baby dedication is also a commitment from our church family. As a congregation, we promise to:

Pray for the child and their family

Support and encourage the parents

Provide biblical teaching and a loving church community

Model authentic Christian faith
We believe raising children to know Christ is not something families do alone—it’s something we do together.
